Health & Safety Policy
Our Comittment
BEYOND WOW is committed to ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of everyone involved in our operations — including staff, contractors, clients, audiences, and the wider public. As an events consultancy, we work in dynamic environments where proactive risk management is key.
Leadership and Responsibility
Our Director holds an IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) Managing Safely certification and a 3-day First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification. This ensures that health and safety principles are embedded from the outset of every project, including during planning, site visits, installation, live events, and derig.
We work closely with production partners to
-
Develop clear and site-specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
-
Ensure appropriate insurance, licensing, and emergency procedures are in place
-
Promote a culture of safe working practices and clear communication across all teams
Key Practices
-
All events and installations undergo pre-production H&S planning, including accessibility considerations
-
Contractors are required to provide evidence of appropriate training, insurances, and safe working policies
-
First aid, fire safety, and evacuation protocols are planned and communicated for each event
-
We support a no-blame culture that encourages near-miss reporting and continuous improvement
Monitoring & Review
This policy is reviewed annually or following any major incident. BEYOND WOW will continue to evolve our H&S practice in step with industry standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidance.
